Designing and shipping a voiceover artist's own platform, solo

Voiceover artists depend heavily on platforms like Fiverr and Voices.com for visibility, and the tradeoff is control -- over how the work is presented, how the brand is perceived, and how they get discovered. In a marketplace every artist looks roughly the same. There's no room to tell a story, establish credibility, or own the relationship with a client, and clients end up asking basic questions that a well-structured platform could have answered upfront.

What started as "she needs a portfolio site" turned into designing around how clients actually evaluate voice talent -- they scan titles, play a few seconds, and decide almost immediately. So featured demos sit above the fold, previews play inline from the cards, and nothing sits between landing and listening. I built it as well as designed it, over eight months, as a test of how far a prompt-based workflow could carry a real product with a real client waiting at the end of it.

the short version

What it is

A personal platform for a voiceover artist -- an audio-first site that lets agencies and clients evaluate the work, understand her specialisation, and reach out directly instead of through a marketplace.

Who it's for

Agencies and businesses hiring voice talent, who scan and sample rather than browse.

How it was made

Designed and built solo over eight months, pro bono, as an experiment in prompt-based development.

Where it stands

Shipped and live. Conversion tooling was deliberately left to a later phase.
